Associate Professor of Africana Studies Nigel Westmaas spoke on Jamaica’s Irie FM Radio on April 27 as one of the representatives of the international Justice for Walter Rodney Committee. Westmaas, who was part of a panel representing the Justice for Rodney Committee, discussed the recently established Commission of Enquiry into the assassination of Guyanese historian and political activist Dr. Walter Rodney who was killed in a car explosion in 1980. The Commission is currently meeting in Guyana.
