Chad Williams, assistant professor of history, participated in a Scholars Roundtable titled "The Relevance and Importance of African Americans in World War I," at the National World War I Museum in Kansas City on Memorial Day, May 25. A ceremony honored African-American veterans of all wars and featured the unveiling of a painting inspired by African-American veterans.
