Ernest Williams, the William R. Kenan Professor of Biology emeritus and lecturer in biology, discussed monarch butterflies in several recent lectures.
He presented “Monarchs, Milkweeds, and Migration” in the Ithaca Native Landscape Symposium on March 4 at Cinemapolis Arts Theater in Ithaca, N.Y.
On March 9, “The Endangered Migration of Monarch Butterflies” was presented to the Onondaga Audubon Society at the Fayetteville Free Library in Fayetteville, N.Y. Williams made a second presentation of the lecture on April 9 at the Great Swamp Conservancy in Canastota, N.Y.
