Professor of History Thomas Wilson spent the summer as a visiting scholar conducting research at the National Central Library in Taipei, Taiwan. His stay was made possible by a research grant from the Center for Chinese Studies based at the National Central Library.
During a seminar on Aug. 1, Wilson gave a Chinese presentation of his research on Confucian ritual and the conception of Heaven-God in the imperial feasting rites performed by emperors from the Tang dynasty to the first decade of the twentieth century.
