
Professor of History Thomas Wilson was re-elected co-chair of the Confucian Traditions Group of the American Academy of Religions. He was nominated to run at the annual meeting in San Francisco in November. The election was conducted by email last week.
Wilson has written extensively on Confucian orthodoxy and is a board member of the Society for the Study of Chinese Religions. He edited On Sacred Grounds: Culture, Society, Politics, and the Formation of the Cult of Confucius (Harvard, 2003), to which he also contributed two chapters.
