Hamilton College head coach Patty Kloidt has been selected to serve as one of the assistant coaches for Canada's Senior team that will compete at the 2009 International Federation of Women's Lacrosse Associations (IFWLA) World Cup in Prague, Czech Republic.

Kloidt was appointed to the coaching staff by the Canadian Lacrosse Association and the Canadian Women's National Team program in Ottawa. The appointments begin immediately and run through the 2009 World Cup.

Kloidt has a record of 55-26 in five years at Hamilton. In 2007 she guided the Continentals to a 16-3 record, the program's first Liberty League regular season and tournament titles, and the quarterfinals of the NCAA championships tournament. The 16 wins is the most in one season for the 29-year program. Hamilton finished the year ranked sixth in the NCAA Division III poll.

Kloidt has coached the last two Liberty League Players of the Year. Five Continentals have received All-America honors during Kloidt's tenure, including First Team members Nicole Tetreault '08 and Kalley Greer '07 in 2007.
