Hamilton College's Amanda Thorman '13 (Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich Academy) has been named a 2011-12 scholar-athlete by the College Squash Association.

In order to be eligible for the award, student-athletes must carry a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5, and have earned at least two varsity letters.
Thorman is a 2011 and 2012 NESCAC all-conference second team selection. She has posted 28 career wins, and is a two-time member of the NESCAC winter all-academic team. Thorman is a psychology major.
