"Lioness at Sunset" by Calvin Johnson '10.
Six Hamilton students were honored for their photography in the fourth annual Worldview Photo Contest, which challenges students studying abroad to capture unique images of their surroundings.

This year’s winner was Calvin Johnson ’10, whose photograph “Lioness at Sunset” was taken at dusk in Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Second and third place honors went to Andrea Weinfurter ’10 and Natalie de Boursac ’11, respectively. Weinfurter’s photograph show the silhouette of a Samoan climbing a coconut tree, and de Boursac’s captures Victoria Harbor during the opening ceremonies of the East Asian Games, hosted by Hong Kong in December 2009. Honorable mentions went to Grace Liew ’12, Michael Bethoney ’11 and Nina Connors ’10.

To participate in the contest, students were required to submit a photo taken on a study abroad program or in an international student’s home country. A panel from Student Life judged the photos, and winning photos are on display in the Dean of Students Office.
