De Bao Xu, the Leonard C. Ferguson Professor of East Asian Languages and Literatures, was appointed as the chair of the nomination committee of the Chinese Language Teachers Association (CLTA).
The Nomination Committee is responsible for nominating the vice president and the board of executive directors of CLTA. The members of CLTA, which number more than 1000 people, will then elect the nominated candidates to the board. The board of executive directors will elect the vice president, who will replace the incumbent next year.
