Professor of Chinese De Bao Xu edited “Cloud Computing and Mobile Technology in Chinese Language Teaching,” a special issue of the Journal of Technology and Chinese Language Teaching (Volume 2, 2011).
In addition, Xu attended the executive board of directors meeting at the annual conference of Chinese Language Teachers Association (CLTA) Nov. 17-20 in Denver. Xu served on the committee for the Walton Achievement and Presentation Award and was the liaison for coordination with other associations. The CLTA conference was held in conjunction with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) convention, an annual gathering of foreign language instructors from across the U.S.
