
De Bao Xu, professor of Chinese, was elected to the executive board of directors of the Chinese Language Teachers Association in the U.S. for a term of three years.
The executive board is responsible for managing the property and affairs of the Association and acting as liaison with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, the Modern Language Association, the Association for Asian Studies and other organizations that have common interests with the Chinese Language Teachers Association.
The board’s directors are elected by the whole membership of the Association through mail or electronic ballot.
