Youthful Link To Politics/ Internet Could Deliver More Under-25 Votes

With high school and college students among the savviest users of computer technology, educators nationwide latched onto the Internet this fall as a way to excite students about the political process... Students at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., built a Web site (ny2k.hamilton.edu) that tracks the platforms and itineraries of New York's main candidates for the U.S. Senate, Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton and Republican Rick Lazio. Visitors to the site can post comments and cast straw votes.
