Assistant Professor of Economics Wei Zhan gave a research presentation titled “Does How We Measure Altruism Matter? Playing Both Roles in Dictator Games” at the 110th Annual Conference on Taxation in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Nov.9. Zhan’s project examines altruism, an important underlying motive for charitable giving. It is a methodological examination of the best way to measure altruistic preferences.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
