Scholarships, Fellowships, Prizes & Internship Support
From its humble beginnings as an academy for children of the Oneida Nation and of white settlers in central New York, Hamilton College has always been committed to educational access and opportunity. That legacy continues today, most recently in the College’s bold decision to admit students based solely on their record of achievement, regardless of their ability to afford the cost of attendance. Further, the Hamilton promise includes meeting 100 percent of demonstrated financial need for all those who matriculate.
Every year, thousands of alumni, parents and friends provide financial support to ensure that every Hamilton student has an exceptional educational experience. Hundreds of our most loyal donors have established named awards to ensure that critical financial aid will be available for future generations of Hamiltonians. The scholarships and prizes listed on this site celebrate the commitment and generosity of these donors or those in whose honor the funds were created.
Please note: The named scholarships profiled on these pages are awarded as part of the College’s need-based financial aid packages. These funds help ensure the Hamilton Promise of keeping education affordable through meeting a student’s full demonstrated financial need.
