Career Center Volunteers

Making a positive impact on someone’s life feels good — especially when that someone is a Hamilton student exploring how to transfer the valuable skills learned on the Hill to a meaningful and rewarding career path after graduation.

Please join other Hamilton alumni and parents who have volunteered to help students explore careers. Contact Shauna Hirshfield at 315-859-4346 or sahirshf@hamilton.edu to learn more.

Possible roles include:

  • Offer career advice
  • Host practice interviews
  • Offer resume critiques
  • Participate in relevant programs
  • Provide job shadowing opportunities
  • Post internship or job opportunities

You are invited to join our career networking community by logging in to My Hamilton. Begin by editing your profile and clicking on the volunteer tab to indicate the ways in which you would like to volunteer.

Once you indicate that you’d like to volunteer, your roles will be highlighted on your profile. Additionally, students will be able to perform an advanced search, and narrow their search by those who have offered to provide career advice or practice interviews to students.
