  • While the charrette events are nearing the end, the aspirational design work isn’t done. We look forward to sharing the ideas that have come out of these charrettes in December.

  • Join the Aspirational Design Core Team and the Levitt Center on Wednesday night for our final community charrette, Community Conversation on Aspirational Design. Free dinner (from Taj Mahal!) and dessert will be served.

  • The last of the six focus charrettes, Innovation, Technology, & Authentic Intelligence, takes place later this week! Mark your calendars now for next week’s Community Charrette (11/12, 7-9 p.m.).

  • Our final focus charrette, Innovation, Technology, & Authentic Intelligence, is next week (Nov. 6-7). Email aspirationaldesign@hamilton.edu if you would like to participate.

  • Hope everyone enjoyed Fall break! Two focus charrettes take place this week: Hamilton 360 and Practicing the Liberal Arts. Be on the lookout for opportunities to test prototypes on campus Oct. 22 and Oct. 24.

  • Three more focus charrettes are coming up in October and November. More details below. All members of the campus community are invited and encouraged to participate.

  • The first Community Charrette is Wednesday, Oct. 8 (7–9 p.m., Tolles Pavilion). Come hear new ideas, add your voice, and enjoy free dessert. More details below.

We’re still in the early stages, so your feedback will help these ideas evolve.

  • Thank you to all who responded to last week’s email and signed up for upcoming Aspirational Design events. We appreciate your engagement! So far, more than 300 campus community members have shared their insights and thoughts through activities that have included design charrettes, prototype testing, tabling conversations, and interviews.

  • We had another very busy week hosting the “Democracy & Imagination” and “Creative Campus and What If?” Focus Charrettes. More than 150 members of our campus community engaged through charrette participation and prototype testing. If you were among those who took part, thank you for sharing your ideas and perspectives! We couldn’t do this without you.

  • Thank you to everyone who participated in Aspirational Design events last week! We’re thrilled that we had more than 100 members of our campus community engage via charrette participation, prototype testing, and empathy tabling.

Your ideas and input are valued and we look forward to seeing increased participation in upcoming events.
