Event Description

The renowned Anvil Orchestra (Larry Dersch, Terry Donahue, and Roger Miller) returns to accompany two classic, breakthrough “silent” films.

2 p.m. The Man with a Movie Camera (1929) by Dziga Vertov:

A modern British Institute poll of film historians and critics rated Man with a Movie Camera film-history’s greatest documentary.

7 p.m. The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) by Robert Wiene

The film that established the horror film genre.

F.I.L.M. events are are held in the Bradford Auditorium, Kirner-Johnson 125 and are free and open to the public.
