Featuring a cast of thousands, give or take, Ubu Roar is a wildly raucous and comic adaptation of Jarry's anti-classic. Somewhere in Poland (allegedly) a man of questionable taste and intellect seizes power and struggles to hold on to it, come hell or high water, come vengeful royals or overburdened dungeon masters or hibernating bears or whatever, OMG it's just a lot. It's a tale as old as time, no? Je ne sais pas.

This bold, chaotic, and contemporary take on a modern masterpiece highlights the timeless nature of tyranny and the grotesque farce it often becomes - with sock puppets!
