Come hear Bella Boateng speak about her current project. Navigating Technological Exclusion: The Place of Black Children in New York City’s Innovation Economy, is a qualitative case study drawing on 8 months of in-depth observation, interviews and spatial analysis in a social justice-focused STEAM (Science, Technology, Art, Engineering, Mathematics) afterschool program in East New York, Brooklyn.
