Event Description

The campus community is invited to attend an open forum with a finalist for the position of Director of the Language Center, an integral member of Hamilton’s engaged academic community. As one of four Academic Resource Centers (ARCs) within the ALEX (Advise, Learn, Experience) network, the Language Center supports excellence in language teaching and learning across a wide range of world languages.

This forum is an opportunity to hear the candidate's vision for leading a dynamic, student-centered academic center that supports peer tutoring, faculty development, curriculum innovation, and cross-campus collaboration. The Director also plays a key role in advancing programs like the Critical Languages Program, Cookies & Conversation, and the Multilingual Faculty series.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend and share their feedback as part of this important search process.
