"A Fleeting Glimpse: Lived Experiences of Freedmen in 1865 and 1866 in Petersburg, Virginia"

This Honors Thesis will illuminate the lives of formerly enslaved persons in the major railway hub of the Confederacy six months after the end of the Civil War.
