Hamilton’s 208th Commencement, unlike any other in the College’s history, was held virtually on Sunday, May 24. The 497 graduates were celebrated with videos from faculty and staff, photos, and remarks by President David Wippman and Ramisa Tasmin, class speaker.

Dean of Faculty Suzanne Keen announced the Class of 2020 salutatorian Sarah Salimi, a sociology major from Hartsdale, N.Y., and valedictorian Caroline Sullivan, a biochemistry major from Hopkinton, Mass.

Also receiving recognition was Kena Gilmour, a government major from New Paltz, N.Y., who received the James Soper Merrill Prize. It is awarded to the member of the graduating class “who, in character and influence, has best typified the highest ideals of the College.” Read More ...
