Philosophy As Conversation

Faculty, Staff and Students Only
Fillius Events Barn Lobby

The philosophical aim of LaPorte-Burns’ thesis is to show the value of philosophy as conversation. The project’s goal is to encourage students to think philosophically by creatively conveying the way philosophical theories apply to tangible contemporary issues. In sum, the students who serve as performers and those who number among the audience will be able to experience conversation as a tool for learning and applying philosophy in the world. The skit will be followed by a reception with food and discussion.
