Taylor Anoff '17 is currently a research assistant at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in the lab of Dr. William Hahn where she is conducting pediatric cancer research in her gap years before starting medical school.

Amelia Boyd ’20 began every morning at 5 a.m., searching for bird nests in Butte Valley, California. Once the nesting season got started, Boyd and her research team had a limited window, so they had to work hard to take advantage of it. After the early wake-up call, Boyd spent up to 11 hours each day combing the grasslands and juniper forests of Butte Valley.

It’s a great internship — if you love dogs and science. “You definitely would have a hard time working with the dogs if you weren't a dog lover. The kennel houses some 50 sled dogs, and at that point the dogs will love on you whether you like it or not,” says Debbie Kim '19.
