A new state-of-the-art facility equipped with best-in-class technology and resources will soon serve as the launchpad for the College’s multi-faceted digital fluency initiative, Digital Hamilton, and transform the academic experience on College Hill.

After evaluating nearly 130,000 applications and welcoming more than 9,500 deserving students into the Hamilton community, Vice President for Enrollment Management Monica Inzer will retire on June 30 after 20 years of leading Hamilton's student recruitment, admission, and financial aid programs.

Among the many people and departments on campus working tirelessly to help Hamilton achieve its carbon neutrality goal by 2030, there’s a group of students doing the work right alongside them: the Hamilton Sustainability Coordinators.

Six Hamilton students — Lara Barreira ’25, Nikki Conlogue 25, Miranda Gregory ’25, Kelvin Nunez ’24, Christina Stoll ’25, and Mimosa Van ’26 — are studying abroad this semester, thanks to assistance from Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships.

Stephanie Andrade ’26 and Katlynn (Kat) Leon ’25 will be exploring their academic interests abroad thanks to Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships. Andrade will travel to the Netherlands this summer, while Leon will study in the United Kingdom this fall.

Four years ago, Jason Le ’23 might not have believed it if you told him that he would one day attend film school. As a first-year student, Le intended to major in biology on a pre-med track.

Some 159 students were honored with academic prizes and scholarships, and faculty were recognized for receiving teaching awards and dean’s scholarly achievement prizes, at Hamilton’s annual Class & Charter Day convocation on May 9. Earning special recognition were Ryan Smolarsky ’23, who received the James Soper Merrill Prize, and Eleanor “Ellie” Sangree ’24, who was awarded the Fillius Drown Scholarship.

Six Hamilton seniors have been awarded U.S. State Department Fulbright English Teaching Assistantships for 2023-24.
