Ann Owen, the Henry Platt Bristol Chair of Public Policy and Professor of Economics, recently presented a paper in Madrid at the Conference on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Economics, Finance, and Central Banking.

Ann Owen, the Henry Platt Bristol Professor of Economics, presented a summary of her research on gender diversity on bank boards of directors at an American Bankers Association (ABA) Open Forum on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in October. Her research titled “The performance benefits of a more gender-diverse board of directors,” is available online and will be in print in the ABA Banking Journal in January.

November’s news coverage highlights include a profile of alumnus and folk musician Jake Blount ’17, announcement of Hamilton’s new dean of admission, and an interview with the Wellin Museum’s director discussing its 10th anniversary.
