Hamilton students explored career interests around the world this summer. Read about a few of them here.

“Social media advertising and macroeconomic expectations: Evidence from Meta,” co-authored by Assistant Professor of Economics Cody Couture and Ann Owen, the Henry Platt Bristol Chair of Public Policy and Professor of Economics, was recently published in the journal Economics Letters.

This summer, Levitt Center student researchers Luke Hanson ’26, Delaney Patterson ’26, Samuel Low ’28, and Ton Somnug ’27 joined forces with Griffiss Institute CEO and Hamilton alumna Heather Hage ’02 to investigate the holistic impact of federal spending on the local economy.

Professor of Economics Emerita Betsy Jensen co-authored the 6th edition of Industrial Organization: Theory and Practice, published recently by Routledge.

Dean of Faculty Ngoni Munemo recognized nine faculty members with Dean’s Scholarly Achievement Awards in three categories — career achievement, early career achievement, and notable year — at the May 6 faculty meeting.
