  • As the spring semester wound down, there were many student accomplishments remaining to applaud. Check out what some of our students achieved in the last few months.

  • The Hamilton community is grateful for the 23 members of Hamilton College Emergency Medical Service (HCEMS). These student volunteers are New York State certified EMTs whose work helps keep the College community safe 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week while classes are in session.

  • November 8 to 14 is National Collegiate EMS Week, and Hamilton acknowledges with thanks the 24 members of the Hamilton College Emergency Medical Service (HCEMS).

  • The phone rings at 1 a.m., and Serena Persaud ’20 is ready for action. She's one of the state-certified student EMTs who keep the College community safe while gaining valuable experience for a future career.

  • Diann Lynch, a registered nurse at the Rudd Health Center and coordinator for Hamilton College Emergency Medical Services (HCEMS), was recently named the Midstate EMS Nurse of Excellence for 2017.

  • Every November, the College community salutes the Hamilton College Emergency Medical Service (HCEMS). HCEMS is a New York State Emergency Medical Service agency that responds to medical emergencies on campus. The service is available to all community members of the College 24-hours- a-day, seven-days-a-week during the year when classes are in session. The program is made up of student volunteers who all are New York State certified EMTs.

The team that forms Hamilton College Emergency Medical Services (HCEMS) consists of 21 students from a wide variety of backgrounds and interests. This week, Hamilton recognizes their efforts through the National Collegiate Emergency Services Foundation’s National Collegiate EMS Week.
