Senior Research Librarian for Academic Initiatives & Experiential Learning Alexandra Wohnsen was recently accepted as one of 10 mid-career librarians for the 2026 Oberlin Group LEAP Leadership program.

Professor of Art Robert Knight and Michael Shapiro ’71, director emeritus of Atlanta’s High Museum of Art, first taught From Collecting to Curating five years ago, but it has returned this year with a twist. The course is divided into three parts with one new goal: to curate an exhibition at the Munson in Utica, N.Y.

Library and Information Technology Services (LITS) professional staff members recently presented at the annual NERCOMP conference in Providence, R.I.

Hamilton highlighted its new Curatorial Studies program on Feb. 12 with an information session featuring representatives from area museums. The new initiative, funded through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, will give students interdisciplinary, hands-on experiences with museum curating that may lead to potential careers, summer internships, and research fellowships.
