  • The Pat McGee Band will perform at Hamilton on Friday, Feb. 2, at 9 p.m. in the Annex. Tickets, which are FREE with a Hamilton I.D., will be available at 4 p.m. on Friday in the ANNEX.

  • Karen Green, Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Multicultural Affairs at Hamilton, has been honored by her alma mater, Agnes Scott College. The college has named its Human Relations Award in honor of Green, who graduated from Agnes Scott in 1986 and worked there in various capacities.

  • Learn more about HAVOC (Hamilton Action Volunteers Outreach Coalition)when the organization holds it Open House. Thursday, Feb. 1, from 4-8 p.m. in the Annex.

  • The band, Low, with opening act, Pedro the Lion, will perform at Hamilton College on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 8:30 p.m. in the Annex. The concert is free and open to the public.

  • Professor Steve Goldberg, chair of Hamilton's Art Department, will present a lecture, Chinese Calligraphy in an Age of Globalization. Saturday, Feb. 3, at 3 p.m. in the Chemistry Auditorium.

  • Mitchell Stevens, an assistant professor of sociology at Hamilton College, and author of an upcoming book about home schooling, has launched a Web site gallery of art by homeschooled children. An article about the site and Stevens' research was featured in Tuesday's Utica Observer-Dispatch.

  • FebFest is this week, February 12th-17th. Highlights include Dar Williams on Feb. 14, a Snoccer tournament on Feb. 15, and G Love and Special Sauce on Feb. 17.

  • Grab your spices and seasonings, it's time to turn up the burners for the 8th annual Chili Cook-off. Members of the Hamilton community are invited to make their favorite chili recipe and enter the Cook-off. It will be held on Sat., Feb. 17, from 4-6 p.m. in The Little Pub. Entry forms now available in Student Activities office.

  • Installation artist and MacArthur Prize Winner Xu Bing and art scholar Britta Erickson will lecture at Hamilton on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. in the Chemistry Auditorium.

  • More than 60 Oneida County service providers and officials met Tuesday (1/30) at Hamilton College as part of the "Communities That Care" initiative.
