Twelve members of the class of 2002 were elected to the Hamilton College chapter of Phi Beta Kappa on Feb. 28. Phi Beta Kappa is the nation's oldest honor society. The students are: Ava Bromberg, Curtis Confer, Lauren Cuozzo, Kristopher Gerardi, David Kolb, Tomasz Konopka, Marcus Loveland, Ann Toth, Christopher Viapiano, Rebecca Walker, Nathan Weston and Danielle Wittern.

Phi Beta Kappa, which established a chapter at Hamilton in 1870, is the oldest and most prestigious honor society in the country.  Students are elected to membership in recognition of their exceptional academic achievement in fulfilling the goals and purposes of the college.
