Hamilton College's Olivia Gozdz '16 (Darien, Conn./Darien HS) has been selected a Division III New England Softball Co-Player of the Week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference.

Gozdz was chosen the NESCAC Player of the Week on March 23. She posted a .517 batting average, .828 slugging percentage and .548 on-base percentage in a 5-3 week for the Continentals. Gozdz recorded six multi-hit games and had at least one hit in seven of the eight. She finished the week 15-for-29 at the plate with six doubles and a home run, eight runs scored, seven RBI and three stolen bases. Gozdz also handled 14 chances at first base and in the outfield without an error.

Gozdz leads the NESCAC with seven doubles and is ranked seventh with 11 runs batted in. She will help lead the team into a NESCAC West Division series at Amherst College scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28.
