Hamilton College opened the 2007 season with a 9-8 loss in nine innings against Centenary College (N.J.), but came back to hammer the Cyclones 9-2 in the nightcap at Northwest Community Park in St. Petersburg, Fla., on March 19.

Pat McGarry '07 moved into first place on Hamilton's all-time hits list with a double in the first inning of Game 2. McGarry's 106 hits give him one more than Sean Fay. McGarry is the career leader in runs scored and runs batted in.

Dan Hood '08 collected three hits and drove in three runs to lead the offense. Alex Augustyn '10 added three hits and two RBI. McGarry also drove in two runs. Max Foster '10 allowed two runs in four innings to pick up the win in his first collegiate start. Grady Vigneau '10 recorded the last nine outs for his first save.

The Continentals jumped on top with three runs in the bottom of the first inning and clinched the victory with four runs in the sixth. Centenary scored both its runs in the fourth inning.

In Game 1, Hamilton led 8-7 after plating six runs in the top of the sixth. The Cyclones scored one run in the seventh to send the game to extra innings and posted the game-winner in the bottom of the ninth.

Jack Maloney '08 led the Continentals' offense with two hits, including a triple, and drove in three runs. John Porges '07 doubled, singled and had two RBI. Pat Suarez '07 and McGarry added two hits apiece.
