 Debra Boutin

Debra Boutin, the Samuel F. Pratt Professor of Mathematics, gave an invited talk titled "The Cost of 2-Distinguishing Hypercubes" at the University of Victoria [B.C.] Discrete Mathematics Seminar.

In this talk, Boutin presented background material on symmetry breaking in graphs and then presented her newest result which obtain the minimum cost of breaking symmetry in hypercubes.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
