Hamilton College's Courtney Brown '18 (Port Chester, N.Y./Rye HS) was selected the Division III New England Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference on Oct. 15.
Brown averaged 3.62 kills per set over eight sets and posted an attack percentage of .241 in a 1-1 weekend for the Continentals. She was credited with a season-high 19 kills and hit .359 in a four-set win against Colby College on Friday. Brown is ranked 10th in the NESCAC with 2.60 kills per set.
Hamilton (12-7, 3-3 NESCAC) has three conference victories in a season for the first time since 2000. The Continentals travel to Wesleyan University on Friday, Oct. 17, and to Trinity College on Saturday for more NESCAC action.
