Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication Cheryl Casey presented in two roundtable discussions at the 68th Annual New York State Communication Association Conference at Honors Haven Resort in Ellenville, N.Y.
Both roundtables directly addressed the conference theme of "Communication Matters" and covered disciplinary, institutional and curricular debates surrounding the communication field. One discussion was directed at a student-only audience and covered the "What, How and Why Communication Matters" to professional success.
Casey also completed her second three-year term as executive secretary of the association and was voted in as vice president elect. The new term slates Casey to chair the 2012 conference as vice president.
