Each year, the Communications Office asks our photographer, Nancy Ford, to choose her favorite photos. In a typical year, she covers a wide range of events on campus and captures scores of campus beauty and student life shots, in addition to specific photo  assignments for our website, Hamilton magazine, and other publications.

2020 was unique and Ford’s choices reflect that. She said, “I think this year, I want to put in the photos that represent the year, because that is true honesty. Even though they are not all fun, happy, pretty photos, they are something we are living through. And looking forward, we get to wear our life in 2020 as a badge of honor. This was the year we learned how to swab our noses and a year of political and social unrest. 2020 was a year we became familiar with Zoom and a year of creative coping.”

Help us provide an accessible education, offer innovative resources and programs, and foster intellectual exploration.
