The Hamilton College track & field teams hosted the Hamilton Mid-Week Meet on Tuesday at Pritchard Track. On the women’s side, the Continentals recorded six first-place finishes at the non-team scoring event.

Michelle Fish ’17 won the 1,500-meter run in 4:54.81, leading Hamilton to a sweep of the first seven places. Tina Choinski ’15 was second in 5:11.94.
Emily Hull ’18 was first in the hammer throw (41.60 meters) and second in the discus throw (28.48 meters). Samantha Buttrick '17 won the 400-meter dash with a time of 63.80 seconds.
In the 3,000-meter run, Lindsay Heyer ’17 was first in 10:47.53 and Abby Uehling ’17 took second in 11:37.44. Abby Homer ’16 cleared 1.43 meters to win the high jump and Hanna Jerome ’18 was runner-up in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:20.54.
Yuwen Michelson ’17 recorded second-place finishes in the 100-meter dash (13.51 seconds) and the long jump (4.99 meters).
Hamilton’s 1,600-meter relay of Fish, Buttrick, Mattie Seamans ’18 and Jerome finished in a winning time of 4:23.59.
The Continentals return to action on Saturday, April 18, at the University at Albany Spring Classic.
