Curling is a fascinating sport that emphasizes team communication, good sportsmanship, mental challenge, as well as finesse and physical ability (Sweepers will travel 2 miles up and down the ice in a typical game, half of that vigorously sweeping the path of the stone.)

Hamilton’s team is on track to attend the USA College Curling Championship in Rochester, March 13-15.

Hamilton has three teams in the tournament. Students on Hamilton 1 are skip Jake Davidson '15, vice and team captain  Kevin Welsh '15, second Joshua DeVinney '15, and first Olivia Valcarce '15.

Hamilton 2 is comprised of skip and team president Chris Lepre '15, vice Andrew Fletcher '17, second Linnea Sahlberg '17 and first Alex Hirsu '17  (alternate is Sandy Rao '15).

Hamilton 3’s team includes skip Jessica Weston '17, vice Travis Roeder '18, second Jaclyn Zingman '18 and first Zack Baker '18.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
