The Hamilton College Department of Music presents the Hamilton College Choir and the College and Community Masterworks Chorale and Orchestra in Brahms’ Requiem on Tuesday, May 1, at 8 p.m., in Wellin Hall.

 

The concert will be conducted by G. Roberts Kolb and features Lauralyn Kolb and Timothy LeFebvre as soloists.

 

Nationally acclaimed baritone Timothy LeFebvre has wide-ranging experience from the operatic stage to the concert hall.  LeFebvre is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and Binghamton University and is currently associate professor of singing at Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Oberlin, Ohio. 

 

A native of California, soprano Lauralyn Kolb holds degrees from Occidental College and Smith College.  She has appeared throughout the United States as a recitalist and oratorio singer. Kolb has taught voice at Hamilton College for more than 20 years.
