Director of the Oral Communication Center Amy Gaffney and Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication Timothy Recuber represented Hamilton at the 103rd Annual National Communication Association conference. The meeting took place in Dallas Nov. 16th to 19th.

Gaffney presented a workshop on “Enhancing Our Legacy, Our Relevance: Teaching Professional Communication Across and Within Disciplines.” She was joined by colleagues from North Carolina State University and the University of Rhode Island.

Recuber presented a paper titled “The Future of Dying: Online Suicide Notes and the Posthumous Presentation of Self.” This paper was included as a top paper in the Communication and the Future division.
