Associate Professor of Philosophy Katheryn Doran recently participated in a virtual Voter Education Panel event sponsored by the Utica College Student Government Association, in collaboration with UC’s Womyn’s Resource Center. The event was moderated by Utica College senior and SGA president Peter Gaughan.
The event was the third of five in the series and was focused on “Suffrage and Women’s Issues at Stake in this Election.”
Doran was invited in her role of C4 board member of Planned Parenthood of Greater New York. She discussed Planned Parenthood’s perspective on what is at stake for women in the 2020 election.
Joining Doran on the panel were Corinne Tagliarina, the director of the Human Rights Advocacy program at Utica College, and Kari Procopio, CEO of the Mohawk Valley YWCA.
