The Hamilton College women’s soccer team outshot host Colby College by more than a two-to-one margin but gave up an early goal and fell 1-0 in a NESCAC contest in Waterville, Maine, on Saturday afternoon. The Continentals are 8-5-0 on the season and own a 3-5 NESCAC record. Colby improved to 2-5-1 in the NESCAC and 5-6-1 overall.

The Mules took a 1-0 lead just 6:02 in and made the lead hold up behind six saves by Emily Brook ’15. Janie O’Halloran ’15 scored a goal in traffic, converting a pass from Maddie Tight ’15 (Colby’s leading scorer). Rachel Cooley '18 made one stop for Hamilton.

The Continentals play their final road game of the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Tufts University in a noon NESCAC game. The Mules play at Husson on Tuesday.
