Five Hamilton students and Alan Cafruny, the  Henry Platt Bristol Chair of International Affairs and Professor of Government, participated in the 32nd Model EU at the Institute for European Studies of the Free University of Brussels from January 4 to 7. Seniors Rebecca Werrell, Kyung Noh,  Victoria Bullivant, Annie Berman, and Tara Cicic ’18 represented Hamilton.

Approximately 150 students from the USA and Europe simulated the workings of the European Union by adopting roles of ministers, members of the European parliament, Commission, lobbyists, and journalists.  The topic of this year's simulation was European border policies.  Students simulated the regulation of a new entry and exit system.
