Donahoe was a first-team selection at kicker. He and the other members of the first team advance to the ballot for the academic All-America team, which will be announced Dec. 3.

Donahoe took over full-time as the Continentals’ kicker and punter this season and also played in every game as a wide receiver. He converted 7 of 12 extra-point attempts and averaged 56.0 yards per kick on kickoffs. As a punter, Donahoe averaged 34.5 yards per punt on 44 kicks, including 18 that were either fair caught or kept inside the opponents' 20-yard line. He was Hamilton’s second-leading receiver with 16 catches.

A total of 22 Hamilton student-athletes have earned academic all-district honors since 2003 with at least one representative in each of the past 11 years. Donahoe is the third football player honored in the past three years.

The District 3 All-Academic Team honors student-athletes from Division III schools in the state of New York who have maintained a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.30.
