A. Todd Franklin.

Professor of Philosophy and Africana Studies Todd Franklin presented a paper titled "Truculence: A Trenchant Trope for Troubling Times" at The Insurrectionist Ethics Roundtable held at Howard University on April 12.

In his paper, Franklin outlined a critique of the discipline of philosophy that deploys truculence as a way of disrupting its pernicious and hegemonic indifference to historical context and phenomenological particularity in relation to oppression more broadly and racism in particular.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
