Hamilton College's Joe Jensen '15 (West Windsor, N.J./West Windsor-Plainsboro North HS) and Brett Mele '17 (Ringoes, N.J./Hunterdon Central HS) helped lead the Trenton Generals to the 2014 Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League championship with a 5-1 win against the Staten Island Tide on August 4.
Jensen gave the Generals a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning of Monday's title game. He lined a single with two outs, stole second and third base, and scored on a base hit. Mele was Trenton's starting catcher.
Jensen played in the 2014 Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game in Quakertown, Pa., back on July 17. The outfielder led off the game with a single and helped the Kaiser Division to a 3-0 victory.
