Antonios Katsetos, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dimitrios Katsetos of Elmore Road in Rochester, and a candidate for graduation this month from Hamilton College, was recently recognized as the inaugural recipient of an emergency medical technician award named in his honor at Hamilton.

The award read, "Tony Katsetos served Hamilton College Emergency Medical Service with honor and distinction for three years. During this time, he demonstrated dedication above and beyond the call of duty to both HCEMS and the Hamilton College community. His unquestioned mastery of clinical skills, genuine compassion and disarming sense of humor made Tony the benchmark by which his fellow EMTs measured themselves. For giving so much of himself and being the best in so many ways, Tony is a model truly worthy of emulation. In recognition of Tony's many extraordinary contributions, a profoundly grateful HCEMS bestows the Antonios D. Katsetos Award upon the EMT who most embodies Tony's commitment and personal qualities."

Katestos, who is majoring in German and minoring in music at Hamilton, is a graduate of Brighton High School.
