Hamilton College has announced events for Celebrate Sexuality Week, October 25-30. Events are sponsored by the Rainbow Alliance, The Kirkland Project, Student Assembly and the Office of the President.

Monday, Oct. 25, lecture by John Paul Ricco, visiting professor from Cornell University, "When You're Young You're Golden." Will look at examples from the Abercrombie & Fitch ad campaign, the film "Johns," by Luke Haas, and an article from The Nation, "Love and Hate in Laramie," examining the year following Matthew Shepard's death, 4 p.m., Red Pit, Kirner Johnson.

Monday, Oct. 25, lecture by Janet Haley, former Hamilton English professor, currently at Stanford University, "Recognition, Rights, Regulation, Normalization: Modes of Justifying Same-Sex Marriage," 8 p.m., Dwight Lounge, Bristol Campus Center.

Tuesday, Oct. 26, Sexual Health Issues Workshop with Diane Lynch and Susan Dicks, Hamilton College Health Center. Issues pertaining to heterosexual, homosexual, male and female and bisexual sex health issues, 8 p.m. Red Pit, Kirner Johnson.

Wednesday, Oct. 27, lecture, "Homophobia and Sports," by Louis Moreno, member of the Gay and Lesbian Black and Latino Network in New York City, 8 p.m., Chapel.

Thursday, Oct. 28, Women's Sexuality and Men's Sexuality Workshops. Separate women-only and men's-only workshops where all members of that sex, regardless of orientation, can discuss their sexuality in a confidential setting. Women's session is 8 p.m., Red Pit, Kirner-Johnson; men's session is 8 p.m., Browsing Room, Christian Johnson.

Friday, Oct. 29, Keynote Address, by Harvard University professor and Rev. Irene Monroe, "Religion and Homosexuality." A black lesbian writer and motivational speaker, she was named one of Boston's 50 Most Intriguing Women by Boston Magazine in 1997, 4 p.m., Chapel.

Saturday, Oct. 30, Film, "High Art," 1 p.m., K.J. Aud; film, "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert," 3 p.m., K.J. Aud.
