Josh McKee, formerly an assistant coach for the Hamilton College men's and women's tennis teams, has been named the head coach for both programs at the College.
McKee was an assistant at Hamilton in 2008. His coaching staff includes assistants Jamie King and Mark Oakes. He has served as a professional tennis instructor at the Paragon Racquet & Athletic Club in Utica since 2005. He has been a U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) team coach and captain in Utica since 2007.
McKee coaches, trains and organizes adult mixed-doubles teams. Some of his responsibilities include scheduling matches, operating training sessions, setting lineups and coordinating with regional and national USTA.
McKee graduated magna cum laude from Drew University with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and a minor in political science in 1997. He earned a master's degree in religion from Yale University's Divinity School in 2000. He is working on a doctorate in American intellectual history from the College of William & Mary.
